The Carey Dickinson Fund is dedicated to raising money to fund scientific research into breast cancer in young women.
The Fund was established within Breast Cancer Campaign, a charity which is dedicated to researching the cure for breast cancer.

Carey Dickinson died, aged 39, in March 1996 three years after being diagnosed with a particularly aggressive form of breast cancer. She left behind a husband, Johnnie, and three young children Tobyn, Amelia and Leila, then aged 14, 12 and six.
During the course of her illness, Carey, her family and friends all devoted much thought to what they could do to help prevent other young women and mothers facing such problems in the future.
After Carey died, Johnnie and Lavinia Sidgwick, Carey’s best friend, began to consider ways of raising money to fund research into breast cancer in young women. It was then that Carey’s son Tobyn decided to do a fundraising bike ride. This prompted them to set up the Carey Dickinson Fund for Campaign in her name to support research into breast cancer, with a particular emphasis on the disease in younger women.
Carey’s family feel that while it is too late for Carey, they can make a difference for women in the future. They have raised substantial amounts since the Fund was established. They are desperately keen to maintain the momentum but need your support.
